Was wondering if we could set up some sort of exchange system.....a "I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine" type deal. Strictly with D2OL'ing in mind....I thought of this when looking through my H/W closet...Im sure you all have one too? That resting place for the "not so used" hardware that you MUST have :p:
ex. I have Celeron 1.7G (missing heatspreader, should work. AMD 1700+ CPU, P4 1.7G CPU, couple Celeron Tualies, 256MB sdram PC133. w/o the components necessary to get these up and running these items are useless to me but Im sure someone else may have a board, and whatever else to get'm up and running.
Can we do this or does this get into complicated type situations? Maybe some criteria necessary to participate such as: must be a D2OL member w/ atleast 2 weeks worth of participation?? Heatware?...just some thoughts there..
My primary thoughts behind this are that noone is trying to make money off the equipment, it should strictly be with this particular thought [D2OL] and not gaming, reselling a PC to someone, parts for some other use...etc...
