I've been reading around forums and from what I can gather only the ViVo X800Pro can be soft-modded to unlock the extra four pipelines.
I've also read reports that the four pipelines can be unlocked by using conductive paint to connect a bridge on the pcb or the card. Does anyone have a link for this, and does it also only work on ViVo cards or all X800Pros?

You just need to click the button "search" and ask something like "softmod x800" and you could get one of this (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/search.php?searchid=109870) and I think this (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=487955#post487955) one it's what you need.
Hey, don't be lazy... one day I might not be here to help you :D

wait. i'm kind of lost now. do i need to bridge the two dots AND bios flash or just bios flash?
and for the laser cut cards, can't people use gap-fillers like the stuff that comes from AMD AthlonXP unlocking kits? i have one.. ngh.

connecting dots and doing flash trick is most likely way to succeed.
Just connecting dots or just flashing dont guarantee success.
