CBAEC 0427WPMW
after searching this forums, it seems CBAEC isnt such a great stepping. But no one has had as late a week as me so maybe i can do better.
Cooling is gona be a tt polo. newegg was sold out of SP-90's =(
comments are very welcome, im off to install now.

was able to get 2.5ghz 3dmark2k1 stable at least last night. this is with stock HSF and 1.65vcore
my ram was running at 250fsb CAS2 1:1 ratio and i just set the vdimm to 3.1
im hoping that with a xp-90 i can achieve 2.6ghz stable
im not sure what kind of FSB i can expect when using CAS2. maybe 260 with 3.1v is good

Nice results man!
Just a question, your 6800LE is clocked to 16 pipes with 450/1230?
if so, that is amazing.
If I remember right, my 3200+ is one of those.
I can get through a 3dmark run in 262x10 with stock HSF and 1,65v
260x10 is for 24/7, I haven't tested it so much but it can manage a SuperPi 32mb run.

its an evga Limited Edition
these cards are just Ultra's with a bad bios loaded on them. Even the box they come in is an ultra box with a Limited Edition sticker put over the ultra.
so it came 16 pipes out of the box, i just flashed to a moded GT bios to get the higher vcore and more OCability.
also incase u were gona ask, the moded GT bios is better then an ultra bios cuz it uses tighter RAM timings.

Isnt it the other way? Can you give me a link to that GT bios please. Thanks

Mine is a week 23, results you can see below pretty lousy but considering it's only a 3000+ I think it's pretty good..for a CBAEC stepping. Still probably uses like 110W or something in those kinda voltages hehe.

damnit!
i finally got my TT polo installed correctly and was about to try and push my cpu further then by comp craps out on me...
Last thing i remember doing was lowering the FSB and upping the multi to 11 so i can get around 2.6ghz. After i save in bios it posted soemthing about SATA then just hung. Strange cuz i have SATA disabled in bios. I rebooted now i get immediate long beeps. Tried resetting cmos jumper a bunch of times with power supply turned on and off. Tried taking out cmos battery. tried reseating vidcard. The only things i havent tried yet are reseating RAM and CPU, but those shouldnt be an issue.
I dont get why that happened. I can understand that if my FSB was set too high i would need to reset CMOS or it wont post or anything. But if its just 2 high of an OC then i should still be able to get into bios. The SATA thing that happened might indicate that my Hard Drive got messed up... maybe? but that still doesnt explain why i cant even boot up and get into bios.
god i hope that my cpu or vidcard didnt die. I have another vidcard to try out, but thats my only A64 cpu.
any advice or suggestions is very welcome
