Ive found a volt mod for my mobo. The question is: If my case temps are in the 25C-30C range , would going to 3 volts be a really bad idea?

Now Ive read where MrIcee has never run below 3v and never had a failure. Im wondering what you guys think? What is everyones EXPERIENCE ( not opinion ). Did 3 volts kill Your Stick?

Just make sure you have a heat spreader or heat sinks on the ram and you'll be good to go. The systems temps are good. I run my Corsair at 3.05v.

I have been running at 1918 Mhz normally. I have been having a hard time running at Higher FSBs , max timings w/ just 2.85. Needless to say my bandwith sucks compared to some of these scores ppl have been posting. I just dont have another $190 bucks right now for a Stick of XMS3500 after the Swiftech investment$$$. When I bought that PC3000XMS , it was the TOP SHELF. Nowadays...not.

I am gonna vmod the GF4 again when I pull her apart for the vdimm mod too. Things should improve.
