interesting read, alittle disappointing as a gamer, but highly interesting as a overclocker.

if the 3.6 can reach 6.3 ghz, what can this thing do ;)
after all, the performance may not be much to talk about at stock, but who here buys a PC to run it at stock :D

Just another cobbled Pig 4 from Intel... It can't compete yet it severely over-heats!

See the funny write-up at THG where they include a fire extinguisher with the P4 review and where they prove the thermals are so bad on the 3.8 Gig. that the CPU **throttles down in clock speed when in actual use** to prevent burning your house down!

that clears out one myth..
30w lower tdp is because of intels coolnquiet.. not arhitectural enhancements.
so - e0 is capable of more mhz, but still needs teh juice..

Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if Prescotts throlted down in a case that could run a NW....o'well. The 3.8ghz Model did look pretty nice to me. I was hoping for 4ghz, but hey I'll take what I get. Not like I'll buy one...but I don't know....4ghz...a nice round number I don't know I just would have liked Intel to go there.
