i work at circuit city and can get the mx1000 for 40 bucks, i did some research becasue ive been hearing alot about lag when lifting the mouse then setting it back down

does anyone here have one? if so, please download the neweest drivers then tell me if it does the glitch or not, thanks alot

(play a game like ut2k4, a fast paced game, run and lift your mouse up while turning your view then set it back down and immediately start moving the mouse, try it in all different directions and see if it glitches, i will be forever grateful to whoever does this for me, thanks alot :toast: )

Well I have an MX1000 but I don't do games as they are for kids... :rolleyes: so I guess the answer is NO.

I am happy with my MX510. Wireless stuff is and will always be less reliable than its more mature and reliable brother, wired stuff.

LOL, and I'll have no problem being called a "kid" until my hand can no longer move a mouse.

Whats the point of an insanely OCed machine with all the latest bells and whistles if you can't fire up a nice game?!?!?! :confused: :rolleyes:

Oh yeah...I forgot...to "play" 3Dmark and SuperPi. ;)

Where I live that is all there is to do is play games and overclock PCs. But then you have the wannabes though too....

My dad all he does is play PS2 and download and burn CDs of some Torrent site I told him. It is awesome and then there is my mom that sits and plays PS with her Casino games. My whole family are gamers at heart see! LoL

@ocmyface - I agree with you, there is no reason for anyone to post in here if they think of gaming in that way. But in any case no one is ever too old for games.

But technically most aren't games...they are Virtual Reality/Simulations:D

I've got the mx1000 and love it. I "upgraded" from a mx500 and to me this mouse kicks its arse. I haven't noticed any lag in any games but I'm not a professional whiner either.

I am in love. I got MX700 when it hit the shelves and I thought it can't get better. Well you know what, MX1000 is more sensitive, more accurate (my frag is starting to go up now that I am adjusting), lighter! (thank god) and charging portion looks much better designed than before for more use.
This is one serious mouse for all gamers. Only thing I am worried about is... what happens when the li-ion battery dies? :P

well, in 10 years when it finally dies, you buy the mx2000 :banana:

I fell in love with this mouse as soon as I saw it's first pictures around the net. I didn't bother waiting for a review (Logitech's name was enough of a guarantee for me) so I just went out and bought it!I've been using it for a few months and I can only say this is the best mouse I've laid my hands on...Simple as that. I guess I'm one of the lucky guys since I experienced none of the problems reported by other users.

@jinu117:
Don't worry about the battery! It can be replaced (when, and if, it goes "kapput")....

I now own a mx700 mouse and agree veeeerrrry heavy, is it really that much lighter and what size batteries does it use? But then again my mx700 gives me one hell of a workout :p:
