I have questions about the actual ViVO itself. lol I know most everyone got the vivo cards because they were flashable to XTs, but what really is vivo? what are some cool things I can do with it? should I just disable/turn it off when I get it??

Video In Video Out is what it stands for AFAIK.

yeah, u can connect the in to ur tv and watch tv on ur pc.. and the out to watch computer on ur tv.

im guessing all the cables and software I will need come with the card? and once I flash it to unlock the 16 pipelines, does that mean I lose its vivo capabilities?
