Rigs running and some sort of reply from FUGGER to what I asked him...

While we at it;),ctgilles,or somebody else, dont you have no nF2 board lying around that you dont use,i need one for my 1800+DUT3C JIUHB(can do easy 2300mhz) to set it up for D2OL,and a PIII bord, where the bios is ok for a littlebit off oc'n to do on my PIII 866mhz cpu, becaus its running now only on 615mhz due to mobo that's only 100fsb as it need to be 133fsb,to run normal.
It's for a very poor man and a good project:),and a need more rigs iam also getting addicted:lol:.
Just sent out my extra NF2 motherboard to someone here in CT. I've started checking the dumpsters behind the local computer stores again so who knows what I'll have in the coming weeks. ;)
I have to say though... I remember there being more in these dumpsters... maybe they are now selling the "upgraded" parts on eBay or something. :(

ctgilles... your not even on the team anymore
We can't donate parts to other team when our own members can accept it and use it for our own team efforts...
That and it's just a LOT of hardware that your asking for...

I have a 300W PSU that you can have for the cost of shipping, but I am not sure if it is worth it to ship to EU from the US. Let me know if you want it.
Rodzilla, does the team matter? I thought it was all for the cause?

But doesnât it make sense to see to it that the team gets the parts it needs before we go giving them to other teams? We give parts to the Xs team and it helps the team and the cause.
It's not like I'm forbidding it... I would have deleted the thread if that were the case. I would just hate to see XS parts leave the house and have a member sit with a half completed rig or a dead rig.
If possible I would want to see the team and the project benefit from charity parts.

Fair enough, it just came across as a little harsh to me. :)
I just haven't seen any other thread (besides Pulsar's) requesting parts, so I read to much into it.

No worries... I didn't include any fluff and stuff in that one... I've been working 12, 13, 14 hr days 6 or 7 days a weeks for quite a while now... he he he he kinda takes the fluff outta you after a couple days.

Rodzilla, you came over a bit harsh imo. But I am sure no offence is intented. :)
Offcourse I understand your way of thinking, but I moved to F-DC during my *cough* vacation. As said to Jeff, I am planning on coming back, but my style :D Doing it right the first time hehe :D
And I am asking for a lot... Hence the PP offers next to them, so believe me, I'll pay.
What are newprices for those parts in US (RAM). I'll PP anyone cash who's willing to buy and ship (fully reimburse)
We all have our moments Rodzilla. ;) (btw, thank you with helping me through mine with the Xtreme Lottery thingy)
Honestly, I don't think us being on different teams matters that much. Especially in this case. If someone from another team really needs something to get one more rig going... and I have a few of those things extra... I'll probably end up sending him one. NOW... after saying that... I probably wouldn't send anything if I only had one extra... that would be reserved for myself or my team. ;)

Doh! I didn't even see the PayPal comments...
I'm glad my point was taken the way I meant it. That's so rare these days.

i'm with Rodzilla on this one... if team wouldn't matter but the cause only so what's the point of creating teams in the first place? what's the point of us trying to get to Top10?? ...or what's the point Rodzilla trying to keep up with Jeff...
and it kind of sucks that ctgilles left the team even though he plans on coming back? why leave it? i just don't get it...
if anyone wants to give away hardware it should be moved within a team... that's what the team spirit is all about... not helping competition.
i know, Free-DC is no competition for us, too big, too strong, too far... and so many members help us and the community (PS2pcGamer with stats and sigs for instance..)
my 2 cents... ;)

ok that's enough on the topic... it's really no big thing and I don't want to see it become one. No worries :D
