Hey all.

I am after a good overclocking motherboard for a P4 S775. I want a board based on the intel 915P chipset so I can use my existing RAM.

The boards I have looked into are:

GigaByte 8I915P Duo Pro. I hear that this can overclock alright but from what I have read there may be some problems.

Abit AG8 3rd EYE. This board also looks like it might be a good overclocker as there is supposed to be a updated BIOS version been released soon on the Abit site that will make overclocking to higher FSB's easier(or something like that. Correct me if I am wrong).

I would like to know whether anyone has experience with overclocking on either of these boards. If you have, can you post what your experience with them is. It would be great to get some reviews and insight off other overclockers.

Also, if anyone else knows of any other good S775 boards that will overclock good please let me know of them and post any links to reviews.

Thanks.

I would probly try out the Abit board. I think its alright. Maybe has a quirk or two but if your willing to work around it you should be fine. Just alittle work and it should run just fine, but its always luck of the draw.

I'd opt for the Abit or go and look at some of the Asus solutions...

yep, ASUS seems to always send out pretty high quility boards. I know someone who has most of his friends reccomend ASUS. There overclocks and gamers so when you have servial people like that recomending ASUS chances are there gonna be nice.
