It seems that newegg has 2 x SApphire X800XT non PE in stock, at $455 and $485. They're both OEM, but carry different model/part numbers. Newegg lists both as non-PE models, but it seems the $485 model MAYYYYY be a PE! Two different searches gave me "hints" that the model 581-102A26109 may have 520/1120 clocks!!!!!!!! Unless newegg posted wrong part #'s again, lol.

well, i rolled the dice, picked up the one for $485... we'll see what it is when I get it Wed...

Unfortunately, if it's NOT a PE, to return it I'd have to eat 15%.... ($70) or sell the card @ $450 or something'.........
Or keep it if it OC's like a PE and has 1.6nS chips....

Two reviews posted there might confim your suspicions Charlie.

This is a Platinum for those who don't know. I've been through many 6800s including the ultra and I much prefer this card. So far it's up to 570/615 on air. Very pleased.
