Which GT shall i buy please help

Hi there,

this week i want to buy a 6800GT - which will be used for plain air oc.
Considering aircooling which Gt would you recommend - choice is as follows

Albatron
Gigabyte
Leadtek
PNY Vertigo

I think it usually comes down to the luck of the individual card :) So I just went with the PNY GT, b/c it was the only one newegg has in stock :p:

The cooler on the Leadtek looks nice, however from what I've seen it usually doesn't help oc's all that much :confused: Dunno why....

yes ia lso think the leadtek will not be the best choice.

well i dont care for newegg because iam sitting here in germany.
The choice of cards mentioned is the choice which is currently available
for prompt delivery - i tend to the gigabyte myself as its is the cheapest
of the 4 mentioned :D

Get the cheapest out of the 4 and stick a NV5 silencer on it.

my verto pny gt did 440/1140 with bios mod.

i ordered the cheapest "Gigaybyte" yesterday - hope i will have it for the
weekend looking forward to do some nice benching/gaming/and HTPC pleasure.

good luck with it. I never seen the gigabyte 6800GT before, it would be nice to see some screenies when you get it.

I just went with the cheapest one available, which in my case was the Leadtek as there was an offer on it at the time.

oh well guys,

i cancelled the gigabyte as it would only be available early next week.
So i went on a PNY 6800Gt...they offered me some rebate on this because
it was slightly more expensive than the gigabyte.
Will fire this baby up tonight.... :D
