For today one of the users returned 38620 with only 5 nodes and they seem to be every couple of days ? WTF ?
Am I being stupid or missing something ? :confused: :confused:

buffered files? if his pc is set to conform offline, and he only cvonnects it every few days to upload...

That is a 'dump' something the Cows are well known for.
Mbc has been saving the points up for several months, either by crunching offline or not registering the node ID's until today.
Ahhh... they are fans of the sneak attack. ;)

Yes he's only showing 5 nodes... but let’s not forget that you can run as many rigs off of one node number that you want... and if he sets them to buffer up 2000 candidates... well you got the idea...
You can use the tweaking guide to manipulate your nodes if you wish...

Another reason for folks appearing high in the daily stats is name changing.
When an individual/team changes their name, there score for that day is the same as there total score to date.
It is very annoying but it is the only way some teams/individuals will ever get high up in the dailies.

Ah I see. On a side note can I remove in-active nodes without losing the points ?
You can only remove nodes if they have no points.

Did you backup the node.prp files? If you did you can just use them for future rigs...

yeah I show 3 nodes but only have 2 active i had to format and didnt back that up didnt know about it.

Dont worry Attidudx i have also killed one:lol:,but i gave birth to two otherones:lol: :rotf: .
Hell... I've got 6 or 7 dead ones. They were upgraded rigs so they will be lost forever. ;)

Ooyes 6th and in the teamrank 20th.
That PIII is doing just fine,in 4 days 123 candidates,now am gone let him run till end of the month,that will be a nice buffer:D.
