If you click the client and look above 'CANDIDATE IN PROCESS' you will see some buttons, click on the second one from the left, this button is to choose if you are online or not. Normally you will be able to upload your conformers.
Left hand side of screen 1/3rd of the way down.
6 buttons.
Try clicking on the second from left.
It is green when you are Online

The "...\D2OL\res" folder has a file in it called "general.prp"
Open it with notepad.
It should look something like this:
#**General Properties**
#Sun Oct 31 15:16:05 GMT-05:00 2004
Online=true
AnimOn=false
LaunchMain=false
QueueSize=200
When "Online=" is set to True your client will connect to the internet.

hmmm i get very weird errors when D²OL is running... sometimes i cant open any app at all, not even the task manager for more than 5 minutes, and sometimes apps even freeze. if i close D²OL its fine again inmediatly :confused:
once it happened while i had the task manager already running and i saw that D²OL exe was running with 99% cpu time and dockgrwin exe was not running at all with 0% cpu time ? should i install D²OL again?

something was screwed up in the java and mine was doing something similar. just not pausing that long it was only about a minute or so. back up the node file and try an uninstall then re-install. that worked for me.

ha! i found the problem! windows wasnt using a pagefile! at all!!!! :eek:
very weird thing... i installed xp on a different partition some months ago, then made a repair install and for some reason that windows put the pagefile on the other partition the 1st xp install used :confused:
i checked the settings and according to xp it was using its own partition for the pagefile... i thougt maybe the pagefile on the other partition was still from the old os and i forgot to delete it. so i deleted it.
well afaik its impossible to delete a pagefile that is in use, but this one went and there was no problem at all :confused:
but it must have been the pagefile my current windows used as it now yesterday showed as not using a pagefile at all :stick: ... well i guess it was too many repair installs :D should have formatted and made a fresh install hehe :D
