I can either have or buy cheaply? I have a 2.5Gb and a 4.3Gb drive that are starting to give up the ghost. :( I thought my systems were possessed until I ran a checkdisk. These will be 100% used for the D²OL project for XS.org. ;)

my friends have about 10-30 8-10gb seagate/wd drives, but they want like 5+shipping for them :\

Wow... there's a lot of drives out there. ;) Thanks for all the offers guys. :toast:

And up to $10 per drive delivered is absolutely doable. I just didn't want to pay the $50-$60 per drive for new 40Gb ones. I need two but I'd like three total if possible. I may be able to get another rig going with that extra one.

Again, thanks guys. Just PM if you have the drives and I'll PayPal you at least the shipping.

I haven't received confirmation on any drives yet. I'll be sure to post here when I do and again... I REALLY appreciate the help guys. True distributed computing spirit!!! :toast:

I think I have a pair of old IBM 4GB drives that you can have.

Edit: Geez, I came up with a pair of IBM 45GB drives, a 20GB WD drive, and a pair of 4GB IBM drives. And I think I have a couple of parts PC's with drives in them in my storage room...

Drop me a PM if you're interested.

SCSI4me.com was selling 9.1gig WesternDig SCSI drives and cards and cable. for $25, I bought 6 of them for my farm. They are up to $45 now. Check from time to time. They go back to $25 monthly. $12 shipping. But it's a Ok deal if you buy a few. Shipping stays the same.

Why yes I do. ;) The AGP port is DEAD but you can use a PCI graphics card no problem. I may have another fully working board too... I'll have to take a look.

If you're interested, let me know.
