I'm wondering for 6800u and 6800GT owners what the absolute highest benchable core clock has been with 1.5v and watercooling. So only benchable speeds please. Personally I've completed 3dmark05 twice at 506mhz with Powerstrip and coolbits and haven't tried any higher.
Basically I just want to know how everyone else with watercooled ultras have done. How high have you gone? Anyone bench over 510mhz? Thanks all.
btw its going to be a long night here in the U.S.

Best I have done is 510/1320 with a 6800 UEE, 1.5V BIOS and an Innovatek NV40 cooler.
Edit: I have now run some benches at 520/1300, and 500/1350. Looks like 1.5V is holding me back a bit. I can up the clock or the memory, but not both.

I'm going to slightly hijack this thread by saying I was doing 484 last night for 05 with a 16 pipe modded Asus V999 GE card ( in effect the ultra ) on air and 1.5v. If it gets colder I might be able to get close to 500. At some point the chilled water will have to go on I guess.

494mhz was the highest core clock i could get with my PNY 6800U with swifty waterblock

yikes! omg water cool that thing NOW! 484 on air is absolutely absurdly fast!!!! I couldnt get above 473 on air with my ultra (1.4v 3d).
can I ask what sorta load temps the other person gets around 510mhz?
I can do benchies at 500 plus in the low-mid 40c, but this is with around 66f room temp...so I start with cold room temperature water.

Yeah I will do when I get around to it. My chilled water does -30C and on an FX 5800 it only got to 3C after a 3dmark run. But I am being lazy for the moment.
Here's my air cooled rig

thats sweet zakelwe! love the clamp on the video card to keep the hs on.
Yeah that clamp makes it look even more crazy :D
I just used strips for that...
But isnt the card running passive??? I dont see a fan on the gfx??? Not directly on it.. Only that big 1 a bit away...
How warm does a 6800U OC'ed get on water?? Under load and idle...

It is passive :) but that is a Papst 6212n 170mm fan which blows out over 200cfm. It would be enough to cool the cpu as well if I let it.
So yes, in effect I have a passive 6800 at 480+Mhz ! If I said that in another forum then people would laugh and call me a liar. But not here.

dude, the vice clamp is nice, but the best part is the duct tape....
you rig looks about at mobile as mine, meaning not very...LOL
have you thought of prying off the heat spreader and trying direct die with that huge heatsink? Bottom line, that's one nice cooling solution you got there.

for me at idle I'm running low 30s on the core (with the lower 2D vcore), at load I generally sit around 44c, but thats just an average. Sometimes its a little higher, often its a little lower.
