I got an email this morning stating I could get a 6800GT, but 6800U and X800XT are both still in the future. I caved in and said yes. It is a Gainward 6800GT 256mb :)

Tried to OC it right away after driver clean/install and reboot, at default OC settings(3ghz/1ghz), but 3DMark01 and the card didn't like that. I tried lowering the HTT to 750mhz, but it didn't matter. Nature locks at 128fps max, in places my 9700P would be doing +190 fps. The 128fps is throughtout the test and the other tests are odd too. Got 20k/21k at settings I would get 23.5k with my 9700P :(

Didn't wanna be mad, so started 3DMark03 up right away to see if anything was odd there too. It looks good to me for 6800GT, but screenshot here:

RAM was doing 200mhz(166mhz BIOS) CL2.2.2.5 T1. I had to lower RAM speed because of current 2x512mb layout. Gotta try out games later :D

Anyone have anything to say about the low 01 scores? If I increase that "Max frames to render ..." setting, the score increases but not by much. 186fps was the max achieved by trying settings from 0 to 255 :/

Yeah...that seems good. I get about 12,300 with a X800XT PE with my sig rig.

hmm, 3dmark03 is a gpu benchmark, your wasting your good o/c on the processor with this benchmark. try 3dmark2001 or aq3.

3DMark01 issue still not solved :(

I get ~72k in aq3.

What is your "Max frames to ..." setting?

3dmark01 isnt good on 6800 series cards...

Generally Radeon cards do much better...

But your 3dmark03 looks good...

Kinda funny that 6800 series cant do well in nature but gets better in some other tests than X800 series... Like GT1 is much better on 6800 cards... But Nature is better on X800 cards... Or am i wrong???

I get 130XX in 03... And i get 280 FPS in GT1.. CPU block yes... But i get 91 FPS in nature... vs your 63...
