Somehow setting 21x133 gave me this, but hey it's 2.8ghz or isn't it ;)

Since practically the whole OC-scene is surfing this forum and looking for those high Overclocks, I couldn't keep them waiting for a 2.8ghz AXP now could I :D

Still no software tweaks (wperedit) or anything.
Once I figure those out..... who knows ;)

Entus,

WPCREDIT will not be able to increase your CPU overclock, its only use is to get a bit more speed out of the memory ;)
Well either that or the HALT command, but that will have a negative effect on overclocking. Nice screenshot nonetheless ;)

I just got a 2400+ yesterday and it's running at 2.98GHz (205x14.5) as we speak :rolleyes: Hurry up before I beat you to 3GHz.

And over 7800 views here about Entuscan's oc. I mailed Kyle at [H] yesterday about the overclocks and he put it on front page news. I think the guys at hexus did the same, not sure about that though.

Non the less it's a high OC.

BUT!!!

In SuperPI 1M run he had "Only 43seconds" I did it in 42 with a few mhz more.

Overall my system runs faster, that's what counts to me.
And I don't need to go out and buy a batch of dry-ice to boot my pc, just push power-on, wait a few minutes and tada :D

This means Much more for me

It's Dry Ice.

Also, the board is fairly old: Epox 8K7A AMD 761. Dunno why those Japanese dudes are still using 8K7A's.

Reading his post in Swedish Forum makes me to believe that this guy has some psychological problem to make differences between reality and dream.

3Dmark has never been the Athlon's strongest point I'm afraid ... 3D2K went good, but in 2001 they cant quite keep up with P4's ... the later software and DX versions are more optimized, and Athlons dont gain nearly as much from that as P4's do. But dont forget the poor XP's are battling against an 800 MHz clock advantage ... I am estimating it takes a 3 GHz Athlon to beat a 3.8 GHz P4 in 3Dmark...

I didn't know the HLT command hurt your overclock. Why is that? The sudden temp increase from a low idle when it placed under load?

dunno... I tried it a lot in the past and it tends to freeze your PC when sitting idle... everythings fine as long as its stressed, when it goes to full idle it hangs...
