Using a rev 2 a8v , sold other one a while back, can't find a version of clockgen to work and its a complete pain trying to find out what this mem can do.

I got the PQI ultra pc3200 tccd, its supposed to have brainpower pcb(what in the hell is that exactly?) spd timings appeared as 2.5,4,4,8 at stock speeds? cpu z reads spd as that and something equally weird at 250Mhz. ANyway, runs fine cas 2,2,2,5 at stock, whacked up to 250Mhz cas 2.3,3,3,7 and it wasn't super pi stable. Is it the board, cpu(cg from week 42 last year, 3600+, possibly just not capable of high fsb?) or PQI isn't really that great.

WHat kinda timings should i be setting to get the 270+ Mhz tccd can get, voltages to use. Only got it yesterday, and only really got that as it was cheapest and no OCZ or anything else in stock anywhere else at the moment(UK). Is it really worth returning and trying to find 3700 plat, mushkin, geil? AFAIK G-Skill just ain't available in the UK.

any help/pointers appreciated.

i would also like to knwo this - the clockgen version that is supposed to work with the A8V doesn't, and i need a proggy that will confirm to me that the AGP/PCI bus is indeed locked
