just finished the game today... its great!
if you like rpgs and build up strategy games you will love spellforce!
its a perfect mix of a role play game with a built up strategy game :D
its like a mix between morrorwind the elder scrolls and warcraft3, but with much better graphics!
you have a real night and day emulation on all levels! the sun and moon rise and set and move on the sky! the shaddows on all trees etc are moving together with the sun and moon! there are water reflections of the sun and the moon on the water! the trees are all moving in the wind! some days are cloudy and dark and others are bright and the sun is shining all the time!
its beaaauuutifull!
you can watch the level from right above, slightly from the side, a 45° angle from the side and more close, or even switch to a frist person view with your hero!
you have 6 different races you are playing with, humans, elves, dwarfs, trolls, dark elves and orks.
the story is great!
you have quests and side quests you dont have to fullfill, you switch between playing in rpg mode and then in build up strategy mode all the time, i really loved it! the graphics and animations are beautifull and kept me running around in levels for an hour! even after i slayed all enemies ^^
the game is actually a 3part story.
the order of dawn is just the first part of the story, the second part is an add on called the breath of winter and the thrid part will be released soon.
