So let me ask you this.

When you overclock a P4 2.8Ghz LGA 775 to 3.6Ghz, will it perform the same as a exact core but factory 3.6Ghz processor?

Anyone ever tried to do this comparison?

errrmmmm the oced 2.8ghz will be faster because its running a much higher fsb? 260 vs the 200 of the 3.6ghz. that means an oced 2.8ghz will almost be like a 3.6ghz prescott with 266 fsb (1066).

The 2.8 should be quite a bit quicker because of the higher FSB, which adds alot of bandwidth.

indeed 250+ fsb = ownage bandwidth
