looks like an alpha.....which is OK.

but to really cook, you'll need:

CoolerMaster Hyper6
Thermalright XP90
Thermaltake Venus 12
Thermaltake Heatpipe 101

I have a ThermalTake Venus 12 right now on my other machine which is socket 754, will that also work for a Socket 939 / FX ?

Check out the following thread about rams with TCCD chps. There's a listing of rams that uses that chip in the first post.

Either board would be fine but I think the MSI would be a better choice and I think many people here would agree on that too.

As for the rams, you might wanna spend a little bit more and get the OCZ 3700EL Platinum which uses the TCCD chips. It's the best ram for A64 right now.

My vote is the XP-120 or XP-90, either is great. I'd also mention that even though I do buy from New Egg, lately their prices have been considerably higher than Zipzoomfly for identical hardware and ZZF usually includes free 2nd day shipping. So when you decide what hardware you are actually going to purchase, compare for the best deal. You might save as much as $100 on the package as New Egg has been price gouging on the AMD chips lately. As an example New Egg was selling the OEM 939 3000+ @ $215 while ZZF had the retail box w/heatsink fan for $185 w/free shipping. These two constantly change prices even several times per day so make sure you check carefully.

newegg has great deals on single channel (socket 754) Athlon 64s.

I think i found it: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-838&depa=1

But i was hoping to find 2 sticks of 512. Is there any other online store i can find this memory at, in sticks of 512? Or is it even made in sticks of 512?
