Okay, Im having some trouble getting my ram past 220Mhz with 1:1 and 1T ..

Anything after 220 programs will freeze, and be very unstable. I am using OCZ EB 3500 and I expected more outa these ram modules :(

I'm just trying to rule out whats holding me back, 265x9.5 works with average timings and 3:2, 1T enabled..

Specs:
3500+ NC
A8V Rev2
x800PRO
OCZ 3500 EB

I'm getting a new watercooling setup soon, for GPU and CPU -- and I'd hate to have my computer still stumped at 220x11 (with good timings/1t,1:1)

any opinions would be greatly appreciated

Could be the rams or the board. My 3700EB refuses to go past 220 1T on my K8N NEO S754 board but has no problem going beyond that on the K8N NEO2 S939 board. Test the rams on another board and see how it goes.

What voltage and timings are you using? Make sure you have a fan right over the memory as it should gain you a few MHz at least

I touched the ram modules today, they were literally blazing hot, almost burned my finger.

Is there any extreme cooling options availablef or ram?

EDIT: Im using 2.8V

Just have a fan pointing at the rams. You can also stick a few 4cm fan on top of em'.

lower the HTT Frequency to 3x

i switched the the Neo2 because i was unabke to run T1 on the A8V.

Does the HTT Frequency at 3x give a big performance hit?
