Hello

I have the K8N-E mobo with the A64 3200 Newcastle. Looking to start overclocking it on air for now.

The bios is somewhat limited though could anyone advise a good BIOS that gives me more options to work with? I have used the preset 10% overclock and the system runs fine but would like to push it more.

I have Kingston PC3200 Ram running at 333 stable. However when I up to 400 my system crashes during 3dmark05. Is there something I should try changing to stop this happening?

If anyone has a similar setup, some pointers/settings of your system (on air) would be fantastic :)

at what timings are you running your ram? try losen them or put them back to SPD ...then they shud work @ 400. test them ...If they don't run the specified speed at the specified timings, return them.

Hmm bit a n00b on RAM. I just lower the ram timing in my bios? will have a look now...like I said the current bios is very limited. :(

If your ram is pc3200 ,it realy has to work on 400mhz. Change your timings to 2.5-3-3-7 of 3-3-3-7 if its kingston value ram.
