My friend also got it. Its something like 4-6x bigger then vice city, and theres a lot of better stuff. The main charcter is kind of a wuss at the start, but he gets better.

I'm so GLAD its not coming out on pc till spring/summer. ;)

its pretty bad ass, so much you can do to customize your persona. you have to eat to stay healthy, work out to get stronger, learn new fighting moves, etc. its really in depth and the city is HUGE! missions are fun, but you all know that the real fun comes in getting 6 stars ;)

Look at the screenshots for the game. 99% of them look like they have AA on. What does that tell you? that they've almost definitely got this game working, or very very close to on computer. The only reason they don't just release is because of deals with sony. The same thing happened with Vice City. Sony forces rockstar to not mention any version other then a ps2 version, and delay the release of any other version for a certian amount of time, and in return probably pays rockstar. Sony does this to drive up console sales and make more money.

i still think the pc version is only half ported and the game itself is emulating parts of a ps2 when you play it on the pc ;)

the guys who hacked it and wrote the unofficial multiplayer patch for gta3 that lets you play it in multiplayer on lan said it looks like that.

Can you blame them? This is their biggest release of the year & they want to maximize profits. Halo didn't come out for PC for some time.

Well, I can blame them, because it was their descision. I'm not saying I wouldn't do the same thing, just that its still a mean thing to do. Rockstar got to where they are today from games like gta1 and gta2 for pc, and then suddenly they ditch pc? yea, profits, profits, profits, but that doesn't make doing something right.

Regarding halo.... I didn't really care, I hated halo. :p:

I'm a big GTA fan, but I don't know if this one will be worth the money for me. I'm a bit disapointed with the 'gangsta' theme, as it doesn't seem to flow with the Italian organized crime atmosphere of its predecessors. Not only that, but I've never been good with ebonics. :confused:
