Another happy FX55 owner.

I just dont know where to start , this thing is super super FAST, I never thought i'd notice a huge diff. going from 2.6ghz mobile barton to 2.6ghz FX55. I just finished doing all tweaks for my system and i must admit MSI Neo 2 is one sweet mobo. I installed windows in about 4min with 2x74gig raptors in raid 0. Its late here in NYC so ill do some oc'ing tomorrow so here are my rusults, all stock on air..

Ok guys. I'm gonna need your help . My first time messing with A64.

My components are: MSI NEO2
FX55
2x512 corsair pc3500c2 bh5
Gainward GS 400/1100 default
PC&cooling 510

System runs flawless at stock speed, no problems what so ever with the MSI MOBO, very smooth. To begin overclocking should i drop the HTT to 4x?
Max vcore only shows 1.55 i think, i didnt know it was that low. Using bios 1.3

If you are trying to find out the max speed for your CPU, put your HTT multiplier to a conservative setting, run your ram on a really conservative divider, and then crank up that "FSB" speed. You want to minimize the variables while you find your max speed for your RAM, CPU, and HTT.

I never said A64 sucks in games ,what i said was there was not that much of a difference in Doom3 maybe because its heavily video dependent. I always knew that A64 is king when comes to gaming. Plus , what happend in that thread really wasn't flamming, i was just stating my opinion.

Anyway, in bios i cant find the cpu/mem ratios like 1:1 , or am i that noobish that i cant find it.
