My current Fortron 550 can only do 3.80V before the OVP kicks in. I want at least 4V.

I am guessing this is for a vdimm=vio mod, could you just get a ddr booster, or is there another reason? Can you mod the ovp on your psu?

My antec true power 550 does 4-4.1 then shuts down.

I just hate the marketing associated with the booster. If Hipro ever sells his I'll buy that one, but the OCZ one has so much PR associated with it that I cant stand it.

I used to use a Antec True Control without any mods, but I sold it. If there arn't any other suggestions I'll go with that one.

I am also waiting for Hipro to release his maximizer, up to 4v of very clean power with vtt corrected sound good to me.

My PCP&C Turbo-Cool 425 goes to 3.99v, but has a kinda weak 12v rail (11.89v). :( There's no sense wire for the 12v line, or I'd do that mod in a heartbeat. ;)

I just modded my old frankenstien Enermax 651, It's putting out 4.1V on the 3.3 rail now. I think I'll just use this one.

EDIT: The Enermax is now doing 4.21V under load. (Why does the OVP increase along with the voltage when the PSU is loaded?) Before I applied a load even 4.12V was enough to trip the OVP. I didn't change the resitor setting, its just automatically increasing the voltage and OVP.

Why do you call it frankenstein enermax? Good job on the mod, was it a sense line mod? Hope your BH-5 flies.

I upgraded the caps and HSs. Then I removed the stock 92MM and 80MM fans and replaced both of them with a 120MM 150CFM AC fan. (It's AC so it won't draw its power from the PSU)

How about this one: fortron 530w FSP530-60GNA.The specs looks fine, ovp reacts at 4.6v.Hmm,dunno if the other rails could be modded too.Has anyone tried to modd this psu?

Only 11.89? That kind of bytes. :( That is a multimeter reading right?
Mine stick around 12.04. Maybe you are taxing it more.

Maximizer sounds good. Haven't had the chance to read on it extensively.
Will Hipro's Maximizer need a -5V line like the OCZ booster? That can be a
problem as more PSU are being released without that line.

Nope, no need for it :toast:

My enermax EG465AX-VE can do 4.5V on 3.3V and the 5V to 6.9V

what could be damaged by a too high 3.3V rail? I need as much as possible (OCZ PS 520 + DFI 875P-T) but I don't want to kill something expansive like cpu etc :D
