Heres How to Remove the 60 FPS Lock In Doom 3.

after looking around some, I couldn't find anything to do about the 60 FPS lock on this game. 60 FPS is kinda low for what my PC can do, and it annoys me to be limited to something when I know my PC can do better.
so a friend showed me this simple command to remove the lock.
it worked great.

my PC does 27,000 3dmark points and 12,200 on 2003.
thats just boot up, and play settings, everyday.
so I wanted the game to be using my PC's potential, not worrying about how older PC's can handle this game.

so all you do, is go into the console, and enter.

com_fixedtic -1

check your FPS with this command.

com_showfps 1

it's a great little mod if your PC's got more power to it, then doom 3 seems to allow :D

theres got to be, but I honestly don't know.

also, I found a simple way of removing the 60 FPS limit without always having to do this code from the console.
just add this to the shortcut, after the " "

+com_fixedtic -1

it should look like this when done.
or very close to that.

"C:\Program Files\Doom 3\doom3.exe" +com_fixedtic -1
