Well I finished another WU but it couldnt send :(
I rebooted and its trying to get another WU but with no success.
my questions
- is 117 doing this to everyone?
- How can I get this thing to send the completed WU? I can see it trying to get a new packet but its not trying to send anything?

Got same problem man, and its 171.64.122.125 for me...I'm juss waitin :)

every time the stats page updated DDTUNG had about 100 pts more .... crazy :D

arggghhh hope they do sort it soon just been checking here and the amd rig has nearly finished as well ... cant have em both idle .. as i need this xp2400 running in

I PM'd DDtung about it at around 4.30pm this afternoon... no reply as yet...
Only thing I can suggest is in meantime go back to using 3.14 gui rather than beta7 and remove the -forceasm and -advmethods until 117 comes back online, or until DDtung instructs otherwise...

Just tried pinging the server... the server itself is online but port 8080 appears to have been disabled...
Did a tracert on it... takes 22hops to get to Stanford_University2.demarc.cogentco.com, which I'm assuming is the access point to their network... next 2hops time out then it lands at VSP50.Stanford.EDU (the 117 server)
Stick http://vsp50.stanford.edu:8080/ into a web browser and you don't get an error msg, so the port is online...
I'm guessing we've just folded all those units and there's none left to do!!!

also ive noticed there has been a fair number of faulty work units virtually completed here on AMD rig which isnt running the biggies like p4 rig just the normal client .. do i/ will i get the partial credit for em

well server 125 for example is giving me the same crap... and it doesnt seem to choose any different one :(
I just started it without the -advmethods and it tried to get from 125 but it was the same as 117
also, if we folded all 117's , it should still accept the results. In this case it doesnt accept and doesnt give any new ones so i'm guessing there's a problem. Its also saturday which is not going to help :(

My unit isnt done yet but I just looked at the server stats page and it looked wrong... guess in a few minutes i'll notice that its not working (95% now)
Still, I can load my other windows where there's one waiting at only 5%, wont lose much time :)

well with my "other" windows partition and another F@H folder, I still have another 4 hours work to do before i'm out of WU's ... hope they get back up by then

gonna have to wait a fair few hrs now as p4 is doing a 145 mind u the biggies fold a lot faster .... can i cancel this core and get another if so how ?

submitted 2 results just now... hardly lost any time at all :)
Major, shutting down the core in task manager should do the trick. The program will give an error, delete the work and start over with a gromac if the advmethods flag has been used
