One thing to mention... it's kind of like a sneak-peak at one of the contests within the contest.

I am going to ask the following question during the contest... and it will be for a $25 Gift Certificate to NewEgg.com. The most creative/funny/sneaky way will win the prize.

(and just to be clear, "borged" means "installed D²OL as a service so the owner of the machine doesn't really know it's there") :D

Be smart... be clean... and be legit! If I read about someone from XS in the paper I'll hunt you down myself and slap the crap outta ya :slap:!!!!!!!!

Here are some basic rules. I'm a bit brain-fried right now so I just can't come up with anything else. :( If there are obvious things I'm missing, please let me know. :) And if there are issues that you think should be addressed, just shoot me a PM and we'll discuss it.

I included the XtremeSystems.org statements because officially... I have not approached anybody associated with XS.org about this contest. The lack of negative response made me assume that this contest is ok with XS.org. I still would like to keep those statements in the official rules because I feel it promotes the "team" aspect. I also do not want anything to come back against XS.org in case someone does something extremely stupid with the water setup or the CPU and fries their computer(or God forbid... themselves).

So, after saying that, here are the basics...

I'm going to change the drawing part a bit. Instead of actual paper tickets, people are going to get numbers in groups. The largest ticket winner will get the first group, say from 1-309, then the 2nd largest from 310-574, the 3rd from 575-690, etc. Then I'll have my son hit <enter> on http://www.random.org which will generate all the winning numbers.

Contest: The first person to guess one of THREE numbers I'm thinking of between 1-55 will win the 25 additional contest tickets. The second person to guess one of the three numbers will win the 92mm Vantec Tornado. The third person to guess one of the three numbers will win the $25 PayPal payment.

Rules: One guess per participant and you must post your guess in this thread. Sub-Contest #4 closes at 8PM(EST) on Sunday night. If the number are not guessed by the end of the contest, the persons closest to the numbers win. If there is a tie, the closest number BELOW the winning number is the winner. You can not guess a number that has already been picked by someone else. Your message time stamp will be used in case two people pick the same number within a few minutes of each other.
