D²OL contest prize donation thread.

Just want to get an idea of what the prizes are going to be. I know what I'm giving away but a couple other people suggested that they would also be willing to chip in.

So far here are the prizes...
Prize #1: (donated by me ;))
1-Swiftech MCW5002-A (new)
1-Procore Radiator w/120mm fan shroud (used, but in great shape)
10ft of 1/2"ID tubing (new)
1-pump (will be brand new, but I haven't bought it yet :p: )

Prize #2: Artic Cooling ATI-VGA Silencer Rev 3. (used, donated by FDM)

Prize #3: $50 via PayPal! (donated by bachus_anonym)

Prize #4: AMD Sempron 2500+ (new, donated by Rodzilla)

Prize #5: 2-port KVM switch (used, donated by Rodzilla)

Prize #6: ???

Grab-Bag Prizes: 92mm Tornado Fan, Thermaltake Copper RAMsinks, P3 500MHz (donated by FDM, Jeff, saaya)

If there are not any more donations, I'll add a $25 gift certificate to NewEgg.com as another prize. (or for those not in the USA, a PayPal payment of $25... and for those "off-shore" who don't have a PayPal account... I'll send them $25US in a brown paper bag via snail mail. :lol: )

And note... some of the prizes will be given away during the contest. Just be ready for something wacky to happen once it starts. :D

ok, i have:

gigabyte ga bx2000 bx440 slot1 multis from 3 to 6.5 (LOL) with an agp 1.0 slot, 5 pci and 2 isa slots (! :p: ) 4 sdram slots

a pentium 2 500mhz slot1 katmai core i guess (600-700 on air max afaik)
has 512kb (!) L2 cache and runs with an fsb of 100.

guess it can do 5x133=650 if not even more... never tried to oc it.

has a stick of 128mb pc100 2-2-2 sdram in it.

can also give away a diamond viper v550 apg1.0 with 16mb of blazing fast sdram :D (doesnt fit in agp2.0 and 3.0 slots afaik, you need an universal agp slot, all sis boards have one afaik.)

its not much at all, i know :(
i cant pay the shipping, whoever wins would have to pay it, let me know if its not worth it, maybe i can build a surf/office box with it for the mom of a bud then...

everything else i have is even older and more useless ^^

the friend i gave the p3 700 to will soon get a new rig (building one for her) so i will get those parts back and can donate it :)

what about the board, the memory and the videocard?

only makes sence to give it all away in one package, dont you think? its a little folding box you can use for office/surfing as well :D

or is the board too heavy for shipping?

If you are grouping your prizes by $$ value then the Sempron is worth more than the PayPal cash...

And the 2port KVM is used... But good as new! It was the BEST KVM I've ever seen... You lose absolutely no image quality! (Another plus is that the cables are built in! I'll dig up a link) I have an 8 port Belkin that Ghost like a mother and the quality sucks :moon:!

It may be a little expensive to ship all that overseas. Maybe there could be a "GERMAN-ONLY" sub-contest. :confused: That may work... if we have any other Germans in the running. :lol:

shipping sinide europe is just 3$ more than shipping sinide germany ;)

shipping costs with the german postal service over all europe are pretty nice :)
20$ for a package with the board videocard memory and cpu i think. so yeah, maybe we can make it a europe only thing? :D
