Imagine this guys...in red!!!!!!
Enermax cs-5190 cas, 2-120mm fans, 3-80mm fans, 2-60mm fans
all Vantec Stealths, plenty of room for radiator and gpu/northbridge tec water cooling system, radiator maybe mounted on roof or front(depends on which radiator).
All mounted on top of a customized lower case painted to match holding a Prommy unit.
My calculator says $1300 before you buy your first piece of computer hardware (mobo, cpu, etc.) Ouch.
But tell me guys....is this not the sh*t??????????????

IMO those cases are hideous! You get a ramp for a case, an ugly ramp at that. I suppose just a difference in opinion...don't want to insult you;):p

Intel's not ugly... you just have to stay on top of the game... any schmo can get an AMD and enter the BIOS and play around. Go look for your HB2 pencil so you can unlock the multiplier.
Keep blaming Intel.

@#$%%@$^&# americal idol show..
It isnt the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog..
and AMD has been holding there own.. yeah Intel owns the market but if you break it down to NON-OEM purchases for those who custom build their rigs.. AMD out sells Intel.
so you could say that Intel stays on top cuase of who they sleep with.

Well..................
:finger: :frag: :finger: :frag: :slapass:
I LIKE it.
Yes Versteegs is cool, too. In a boring antiseptic sort of way.
Come on...can't anyone see the interesting side of it??
All right, well anyway... different strokes...
I'll be looking down on all the "good cases" on the ORB

At risk of flamation, I agree...
The enermax case is ground brreaking in designe, but it is an aquired taste... prolly grows on you...
I like some of the ideas in AP Versteegs case but I also agree, its a little clinical in design... much like the case it is based on...
But the expensive coolermasters are even more ugly...
as you say.... different strokes...

Isnt it annoying to put your cds slanted. ANd if u were to mount a LCD on the drive bays its slanted. Bad design. Try Lian-Li or Coolmaster they go the hottest cases.

I don't think it's "hot" or "attractive" ... but it's definately "cool"... and who really cares as long as you like it eh?

firesmoke,
yeah, i like it. And as far as the angle goes...I think it gives a better and more ergonomic feel to the case. And the shape of the case lends itself well to the Prometeia lower case. If you finished it with acrylic on the front and painted the side panels, it'd be slick. And yes, the ventilation is slick too. Put a 120mm radiator in the front or top and there's plenty of space for H2O gear.
Yeah...slick.

Man I forgot how ugly that thing was when it first came out the beginning of the year.
Yeah was waiting on a response from ICEEPC.com on a promethia, They said they would be in the next day, and i could come pick it up. I live 60 miles away and was going to drive to pick one up.
I call no answer, I check site and saw the baby thing.. What about my baby i was going to come buy.

The company which makes these cases.... (Sudan) I think, makes some other cases which are killer, but I don't particularly care for this one either. Personally, I'm in love w/ my new Coolermaster ATC-201.

I'm a big fan of the Lian-Li PC70
