NV silencer 5: IRON heatsink fins??

can any nvs5 owner confirm this?

are the fins made of iron? :confused:
i suppose it should be made of aluminum...

i can't confirm it but i doubt that becoz the surface is very dull, it feels like iron more than aluminum, and there are some rusts after i've water-lapped the heatsink.

It's not made out of iron. It would weigh about 10 pounds and not conduct heat as well.
