Hi!
I bought a 10k pot last friday and decided to give it a try today.
So after setting 0.2v more to the GPU, or 1.9v, i can get past 466MHz, without mods it did 432MHz, now running 452 @ 1.8v.
It seems too little.
Any ideas? Maybe a 9800pro pcboard limitation... Since this r360 isn“t in a xt pcb.

whats little is the volts...
btw how much heat do you get on the card @46xmhz? just feel the back of the gpu.. its a somewhat good indication.. if you card is cooled well and it still isnt that hot on the back, apply some volts..
1.9~2.0 i recommend.. more if you use water :)

I“m only getting 452MHz @ 1.8v.
46xMHz is at 1.9v.
I think it“s some gpu limitation, since where i read the article it said that don“t go further than 2v.
The back of the gpu is cool to the touch at 1.9v.~
Is ovp or ocp mod necessary?
Hi Eversor, my 9800 pro is hitting a wall at 450/460 too, even with the volt mods. I'm using 1.8V btw.

my 9800 pro 128mb 256 bit non xt pcb with a 360 core hits 470 strong on the core artifact free.
what i did was keep buying and selling them until i came across one with a excellent core. sure you lose a little money each time you sell but when i got this one it hit 444 core on stock cooling. :slobber:
it did 7339 in 3dmark 03 on my first attempt without tweaking anything.
i only oc'ed the card, i didnt even oc my cpu
so its worth it to keep moving on until you get a clear winner of a card to start with.
it says xt on the page but thats because i flashed it to xt

Mine is also flashed to XT. I tried just know till 2.0v, but i removed the mod and running 435MHz now. 2.0v only took me to 465MHz...
Guess it“s a bad gpu.

no mods with air cooling, i used a ati2 heatsink and cut the end of the tabs off so i can have the ramsinks also.

rhinos strategy works well.. its true.. its time consuming though...
btw 465 isnt bad for @ 2volts... what do you use to cool it air?
water would probably still get you further...

It“s water, and yes 465 @ 2v is bad since where talking of a r360 wich does 435 @ 1.7v...
