X800 Dilemma :S

Hi. I have a X800XTPE on order, it was supposed to be shipped Friday but Connect3D missed their shipment to the store. The rest of my PC is finished apart from the graphics card and I really just want to get it in and done with.

My question is, should I just get a X800Pro for £290, or wait however long it will take (probably 2-3weeks) for the X800XTPE which I preordered for £320. I will be mainly playing on the source engine at 1600x1200 4xaa 8xaf. Thanks.

Just get the pro and OC it to PE levels. Save some bucks for tacos!

Considering the x800xtpe you have on order is only 50usd more than a pro, I say you should wait. Its well worth the wait, the x800pro is a fantastic card( have one myself), but considering the price, just use a spare card until then. Just my opinion.

I saw a single XT PE available at another store so I ordered it, I don't know if someone got it before me though and staff haven't updated stock. Worst case scenario is that I have to pay a store a restocking fee. I just want the damn card :P

Just recieved my X800XTPE, can't believe my luck. There was not ONE store in the UK stocking it when I ordered apart from this site with only 1 left, and I can still only find one now stocking it.
