Doom 3 bungy cord

for some reason when i play multiplayer doom 3, im stuck at the spot i spawn at but i can move around a little bit then i get pulled back to the spawn point! im guessing its lag cus doom 3 says my ping is 999! i've never had this much of a lag problem before, my connection is 69k idsn, also im in japan. is this just lag? would a stateside proxy server to help out?

none of my freinds have good enough computers or could afford doom 3, they all play x-box and play station, what losers

lmao, yeah 999 ping in ungodly, with even 60 pinmg i can feel the rubberbanding, i cant even imagine 999 ping

well i usually have about 250-400ping, but in other games, it only seems to be doom 3 with this much of a problem, i guess all the more advanced physics reguire more banwidth for online play.
you have got to be kidding me! 60 ping and you notice lag, man your spoiled!
