just what it says^^^
avg 315 bucks. alot for 2.133ghz....
amd is sure rasieing there prices, and with the way that via is going with there ΓΆΓΆΓΆΓΆ chipsets. intel might be in my system pretty soon :-/

I don't think there is anything wrong with via's chipsets... nothing worse than SIS or ALI or even amd's own.
As for the chip being overpriced... it's their top of the line chip, and they are in limited supply... so i wouldn't expect the price to be low. They certainly don't want to cut prices and send the 2200+ sales down the toilet.

well when i see a amd chip that oc's as high as intels (same ghz) then ill pay 300 for the chip. But right now im staying with my 1600+@1.733ghz or so till a great stepping 1700+ comes out that will go 3ghz+ for under $150. :)

I hear ya. I snagged a 1700+ tbred from newegg. I'll let you know where she tops out :)
