like say for instance a chilly1 modded mach1 on a pentium chip
does anyone have anything like that?

1.what is the load and idle temps?
2.what are the temps on the green lcd when its just not connected?

i'd sau with r507 -50 idle and -45 load (on the evap head). Using 404a will mean a little higher temps and 402a will mean higher temps but higher capacity.

r402a is -56C and handles 180W at -45C. I cant wait to put an fx-53 under my chilly1 modded mach1.

well my stock promey mach 1 would read -50 on the green lcd without anything on it.
will it go much below that?

Mach 1 into alarm when modded. I have been getting display temps on the machII of -65C and actual of -55 idle and -45 t 48 loaded.

it would be cool to have the actual data on the different gases and what the change in temps and capacity they have on a graph of watts.

and instead of editing ill just post again, (workling my way to the classifieds) lol
that is amazing as actual temps. -45 on the cpu reading temp is incredible.

chilly1 said -45 on the display (the evap head) meaning -25 or so cpu die temps.

ill probably just have to wait and see really. i have 2 mach ones. one is completely stock and the one i sent to chilly has 130 cfm fans on it which helped by like 4 degrees C.
i may do a comparison on the 2 to see what differences there are in temp and what those differences mean as far as overclocking.
one of the things that happens to many people when they overclock is thermal throttling.
i hear a lot of "i increase my oc but my scores go down."

its one of the reasons that people are able to attain such high overclocks on air. they really arent running at the speed they think they are.
i have a 3.4c that i can hit 4.ghz on stock air cooling with but i know its throttling down as soon as i put load on it.

im sure a lot of the random reboots that happen to people for what seems to be no known reason are because of these built in sensors. so im gonna freeze the sensors. :D

I'm suprised not many people mod to r408a. Tis very cold ( 20 degrees C colder than r134a ).

i suppose it depends on what cpu, but my northwoods are usually no more then 10 degrees C different then the lcd.

My modded Mach 1 with R507 reads -52c on the display no load.

R404A system does -53C idle. I guess R507 isn't as important as some people were saying. What are your load temps? I do around -40 to -45C (Depends on room temp, in the morning it will do -45C, late at night when it's alot warmer it will do -40C)

im guessing you mean the lcd reading. i guess what will matter will be the actual cpu temp difference. its going to be a few weeks probably before i get it all together because i got a bad stick of ram now. i was running the corsiar at stock and one stick just quit. cant even boot into windows with it.
thats fine though because i think ill probably sell it and get some ocz.
