I just straight RDP to my boxes when on my internal lan, from work or away I PPTP in and then RDP. Seems to work great as no 3rd party service is left running (taking potential cpu power...lol).

sadly my main rig has taken a hit and now only boots at a whopping 800mhz (this is a 2.8ghz capable XP-M)
should be picking up a new lanparty board on tuesday or wednesday though, then it'll be back up to 2800mhz hopefully, if not a little more.

I have an other buffer from my PIII coming up that i will dump before newyearsday and also the a64 will have some more buffer points to at that time ;).
I hope to be over 13.000 points on newyearsday, secretly i hope on 15.000 but that me be wanting to much. :banana4: .

well, it depends on the Target that your PC is working on at particualr moment. some require more CPU time some less... but i would say that 140 candidates is good for AXP... my DFI Infinity @ 250x10.5 11-2-2-2.0 on average gets about 140-150 candidates so 140 is nice output...

Yes the xp-m dos about 140 on a good day,but i am a bit dissepointed of the VX mem,the first week i had it it did 10x265 @ 3.40vdimm,now i can only hit 10x238 @ 3.4vdimm :( ,i dont know how or why thats happening, everything is working fine,i did have a bit of troubel with the bios but that is ok now,i hope the mem gets better in time.
The a64 at 10x238 @ 3.40vdimm on air is doing about the same as the xp-m on wc and thats not that good i think, dos anybody know what the normal output is of a a64 3200+ stock speed.
But i will put my chiller on the a64 and see what it dos then,a bit better i hope ;).

well, i can't tell you how stock a64 is doing ( never run it @ stock ;) ) but my Winnie (now with VX) @ 260x10 6-2-2-2.0 has averaged 181 candidates for the last 9 days... if that helps...

13,000 for new years???????
Yes thats what i'am aiming for,the a64 is doing +-140 a day and its 10days to newyears thats 1400,the PIII is doing +-30 a day and it has already 280 on the counter so that will be 580 on newyearsday, the xp-m is now doing +-120 a day thats 1200 to newyear,so 1400+1200+580=3180 and i have 11.000 right now, then am well over 13.000 to be exact 14.180 :rocker: on newyearday.
That is offcours if i dont play games, like yesterday i did only 70 points on the xp-m but thats becaus i was gaming for about 7hours.
I have a Q about that, when i game and D2OL is running dos it keep running or dos it shutdown when i start the game up,i think it shut's down.
But if you want me to make the dump just before xmas then i'll do that, everything for the team man.

Yea that x800pro vivo is a kickass card, but am waiting for the next one,the R520,if rumours are right it will have 32 or 48 pipelines and he will kickass that x800pro vivo :p: .
That is if i get the money together to buy it,becaus it will be something like 600€ for that card ;) .

Well if it takes until March for my card to be outdated I won't be too upset... After I got my 9800XT it wasn't a week later until they announced the x800... I was pissed! 2x as fast as my O/Ced & Volt modded card right out of the box!
Doom 3, Half Life 2, FarCry, MOHPA just don't run that well on my 9800...

I'm not waiting until my card is outdated to Mod & O/C it! I'll have it flashed to an XT PE and O/Ced in the first couple of hours I have it! :hehe: And the first chance I get I'm going to do every Volt mod imaginable to it!

Seems like you half-way got it, anyway. The file "node.prp" is the one you want to use over and over, and you have it saved when you saved the Sengent, or d20l folder. The path for it is in the title bar, in the pic.

In the type I was reading about, there was a Main node, then more that were run/assigned work from the first. I think they were using Mandrake in the example, but mentioned it could be done with Windows Server 03. My whole probelem so far, is I know exactly nothing about Linux, and never bothered to try it as I always needed Windows in some form for my gaming.
Seems quite interesting, especially if you threw rigs with horsepower at it.

Nothing is too tough if you are from XS. Who would have thought two months ago that XS would be top producing team today? I am seriously considering upgrading my slowest rigs to Dual Xeons to increase production. Would anyone like to help me source the parts needed for my first system and send them to me? I can arrange paypal payment in advance.

DDTUNG, have you ever listed what rigs you are using. I'm really interested in how many comps produces that amount per day.

Well, I was the successful bidder on a pair of those LV Xeons!
Just got back from the PO where I sent off a MO to pay for them. First Intel system for me since I had my BP-6/dual OCed 366 Cels.

 Things are really looking good for our team!
I already own 2 of the LV Xeons... I just need to start getting the rest of the parts...
I have been inspired to start getting equipment... Next week I'll get the RAM for it.
Jeff... will 2 of these work? They will do 240MHz easy with some decent timings...

Yep, those should work fine... but these are half as much and at least as good as those Corsair...

They use the newest chip from Winbond and really fly with 3.0v-3.3v. And did I mention they are about half as much? ;)

Pfffff, my amd64 rig just won't work, I installed everything and it shows no screen :(. Tried 4 differend 3d cards, 2 different types of ram, different cables, different hdd's (even one of my hdd's is dead due to this board), I hate this :(. I don't know if its the cpu or mobo that I bought new. I don't have any money either to test with other stuff. Next week there will be a new psu that I could try but if that doesn't work I don't know what to do and I would really like to have my second pc back :(.
