Ok, joined a day or two ago. Haven't done too much work yet...seeing as how I don't have a waterblock for my athlon 64 yet and I don't like freezing at night so my cpu doesn't overheat :)

In a week or so my a64 3000+ @ 2.4 should be crunchin' 24/7.

just joined the team tonight. unfortunately all I have to run with is an outdated rig with a 1700+ thats mildly OCed. College is fun like that. No money for the fun stuff. ;) However I have been dutifully saving up and should have enough for a brand new 939 rig over the summer. After that I can keep both up and running for this.

Always keep the comp running 24/7, though.

Reporting in, with 2 nodes (1 dead mainly because i forgot to back the node.prp folder up and i bodged rodzillas uninstall up as the services were playing havoc with me machine)

A64 3000+ @ 1.8Ghz (CBBID before you ask :( ) I have tried overclocking (dont have a decent board Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9) but its not stable, but i'm guessing this might be due to my crappy cooler and other stuff. Ram is ocz DDR550 PC4400 CL 3-4-4-8. When i get soem better cooling i'm gonna see if i can unleash some extra power.

This won't work unless you went through the setup process for him to create one... That's how the server know to make one and recreate it every hour.

No cures as said before me except crunching more and harder. And Dual Xeons are passe, the virus is immune for them now. Now the way to go is either Quad Opteron (dual cores off course) or go itanium². Sorry to break it to you but thats the only effective treatment now :p: :slapass:
