Hi there dudes, my first post in this part of the forum I think :) (hope you'll excuse my bad english)
Well, as some of you know I am going to build a phase change system as a project at school. This project is really important to me becouse im aiming for a high grade. I have never built anything like this , the closest thing would be my watercooling and then you guys know how far from phase change that is :D
Well I have been reading the stickies here very frequently for a couple of weeks or maybe months now and asking some of you for advices and/or help.
I have bought some of the stuff that I need for this project, well actually we are a group of three people but I am the one that are going to pay almost everything becouse I am the one that are going to use it when it's finished :D
So first of all I need to ask you guys if there will be a big loss if I make the evaporator in Aluminum instead of copper. I heard that copper is really expensive (is it?) and as I told you im just a crappy student so I can't afford to buy everything. So I thought that I could try to get some help from several people at school that are playing with metal everyday. Then I will get a free evaporator with an exception for the material.
All the help I can get i would appreciate (spelling? :D) ,phase change build guides (swedish , english or something like that, already read the one in "3 new guides and I think it's awsome!)
Well , I will write and tell you more about my project when I get all the stuf and can start. Well, I hope that you guys can help me with this one.
