I've found 2 type of braided flex hose in Home Depot.

1-.with teflon interior
2-.with nitrilic (???) rubber interior

Does any of this work for suction line?

Bye!!

NO neither work. Get a gas line, coated stainless 1/2 inch. You can use the fittings or clean the ends well and braze it on. Both the hoses you have are not compatible with refrigerants and/or the oil.

What type of material does the "gas line" has inside of it?

In the outside has coated stainless steel or in the inside?

Actually the stainless at Home depot (yellow exterior) the interior is stainless bare metal. Hoses come in 18 inches to 48 inches and ID's from 3/8" to 5/8".

Sorry guys, but it is easy for us to give some advice in spanish.
