psu to 12v cooler

i was wondering if u could use a spare psu's 12v line to power a tec cooler? i have this http://www.igloocoolers.com/products/active/kool_mate_40.html and it use's a cigarette lighter 12v 6amp power source. so can i run my 12v line a ground to power this thing?

it uses about 5 amps so make sure your power supply can output 5 amps.
