View Full Version : X800XT VIVO -> X800 XT PE flash?

hi,
I've got a x800xt vivo, with 1.6ns mem. the mem does 630 and the core only 512. is there any way to mod the bios to get more?
I've heard of modding to ATI retail x800xt or xt pe bios. that might help?
my brand is sapphire.
can't overclock much as it is now. :(
can anyone tell me where I find the ATI retail bios' for both XT PE and XT?
and a howto guide?

i have a connect3d x800xt and flashed it to the ati x800xt-bios from june 9th today
my core oc went from 520 to 550, but im not 100% sure if it was the new bios
look here for the files:

atiflash didnt work so i had to use flashrom (with forced flash cuz of some different number)

why couldn't you use ATI flash?
and what else than the BIOS could it be that made you go from 520 to 550?

atiflash didnt find my vc, so i thought its derived from flashrom anyway and used that instead
about the clocks:
3dm05 didnt even run 530 before the flash, now it runs 550
but 3dm03 crashed at 550
so im not sure yet if it runs totally stable at higher clocks with the pe bios

The originale BBA bios gives ~0.1V more til Vgpu, so our right :)
You can make the pencil-mod on our card! Very easy and you can make it with the card is in the computer!

so the default on the xt is 1.31? like on the pro?

I know ATI's retail X800 bios gives more juice than Sapphire's X800 bios. think both PRO and XT.
