How long approx do mach2 last before needing to be rebuilt or regased? mines done just under 2000 hours. Thanks.

If has got no leaks and propely fan cooled it should last 15-20 years :)...or more...

think of it like a refridgerator, you wouldn't have an excuse to replace it even if you wanted to :(

If it is well maintained and kept in good condition, a fair amount of years.

Thanks guys, its well maintained and its in an air conditioned room so the compressor temps are kept to a minimum. Are the OK to be left on all the time?

Refrigerators usually cycle on and off. If i remember correct the prometeia isn't thermostat controlled?

yea doesnt a freon cooler on your computer that is left on all the time work pretty hard nonstop? a fridge shuts off because the inside once it gets cold can stay that way for along time. but regardless its good to know they last, although i was screwing with mine and got a leak in the condenser
