im looking for a proper pe bios for my xt
can i just take the ati reference-bios or are there any known issues?

I'm not sure about that...
but isn't that all X800XT is PE for one that use AGP slot?

So X800XT is only for PCI-E while X800XT PE is only for AGP...CMIIW but I get that from someone in a forum...

no that was originally planned but due to the low market acceptance of pci-x they also build xt's for agp slots

Is your card an Ati? I have an Ati X800 pro and have been running it with the Ati X800 xt pe bios. No problems so far.

Yea I bought the card at Compusa. I opened the box saw a yellow connector and rage chip on the card so I flashed it. It even came with the vivo wire. I tested the vivo with my camcorder and what do you know everything works. This is the best luck I've had with hardware in a long time.

well most of X800PRO ViVO version is crippled one of X800XT...many brands also use Samsung 1,6ns for the memory which is the same as XT version...so flashing them to XT would be easy...success rate is very high, but not 100% though...but to run them at PE speed would another thing

well mine is no pro but an XT (connect3d)
i just wanna get the pe bios cuz the driver name looks cooler :) (and for having it boot with 520x560 of course)

btw, what about this 526x573 bios?

That bios is the first X800XT PE bios out. It's an original as well so using it should be fine unless your card can't run at those speeds...

I have tried most of the bios available & have stuck to the 520/560 ATI bios. Most of the "other" bios are the same imho.

you should triy OCing it with software...if it could reach PE speed, then you should flash the BIOS...

yeah im running the bba from june right now
3dm05 is stable at 550x600, got me 6282

btw, whats the standard vgpu on the xt? 1.41?

Most of the cards I've come across run 1.41v but there are some that run slightly lower volts.

My X800Pro ran 1.41v... As a matter of fact, all of my X800Pro/VIVO ran 1.41v default.
