Hi guys.
Pls recommend me what 6800 card to purchase online from usa. Which model do you have best impressions from? How much ns is the ram that is used, have u managed to unclock the other 4 pipelines, what is the cooling used, etc ..?
Any problems mounting the cards in the motherboard? I think that the Leadtek 6800 won't fit in my GA 7VA, 'cause the ram slots are too close to the agp slot.

If you really care bout the ns on the ram get a gainward golden sample 6800GT that has 1.6ns just like the 6800ultras all the other gt's have 2ns but it really doesnt make a huge difference. So if u can find a Gainward 6800GT great otherwise just get another 6800GT I wouldnt reccomend the regular 6800 as it only has 128mb of ram on it and the games now adays are using alot more texture memory.

does all Gainward Geforce 6800GT golden sample use 1.6ns?...
what about BFG Geforce6800GT OC?...

FYI regular 6800 use DDR instead of GDDR3

i'm pretty sure the Gainward 6800GT golden sample cards all use 1.6ns RAM. it's marked right on the box i think.

the BFG GTs use 2.0ns RAM. i also don't like the cooler on the new ones. IMO, the reference design was better.

as for fitting on your board, the NF7-S V2.0 is a pretty tight fit too, but it does fit the GT and even the Ultra.

yeah they gainward GTs have the 1.6ns RAM, And I believe that the reference cooler design only uses one slot too.
