Well guys I recently ditched the old 2500+ and picked up a Chaintech VNF3-250 and a A64 3000+. My other components include softmodded 9500NP @ 378/294 (generally don't OC it, but that's its max as of now with the crap cooler and some AS3), A2ZS, 2x256 Corsair XMS PC3200LL 2-3-2-5, XP-90 w/ a 92mm Tornado. So far the setup is working good and the A64 is :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:in fast, but there are a few problems. 1st off this RTL8100C ethernet controller is a POS randomly cuts out (I've seen some other complain about this too with certain modem brands) and the driver updates are no help so if you know a solution that'd be nice. But my main issues are that I can do 2.2 (10x220), but at anything higher even 225 it won't boot. It reboots then lets a long beep and another and another. Made sure ram at a ratio so it was running 370 something with regular timings so that's not the prob. I then lowered the HTT multiplier and bumped up voltage, but to no avail :(. Also, although none of you can fix it, the temperature bugs on the board are terrible with CGs, even after BIOS updates the problem isn't fixed and my temp is always listed as some really high number like 57-59. Just to tell you I've made sure I had the correct amount of AS3 and seated it right, either way it's obvious its a bios issue as goign from idle to load doesn't even seem to change the temp reading. I'm gonna try and take it out and put this thermaltake ext temp sensor in their, but I don't think it'll quite fit. Please help as I'd really like to hit 2.4+ with this setup (and that seems easily doable with a CG, good HSF, and nice room temps). Thanks
