I've got a LOT of bh5 I want to test, and no board that likes rtc=2. So I was hoping someone could tell me about how many mhz dropping bh5 from 2-2-2 to 2-3-2 gains them at the same voltage.

hm... not much.... max. 5MHz?
when you have 512mb sticks send 2 to me, thx :D i test them :D (and buy them if they go up to 265mhz and above at 2-2-2-9)

thanks.
Got new problems now though. I was testing one of the sticks, discovered it wouldn't run stock speeds, looked closely and right underneath the mangled heatspreader clip, a cap was knocked off. Now I have to deal with this.

you have no board that likes rtc 2??? like what?

My p4p800 wont run RTC @ 2 above ~210mhz. I've tested this with at least 7 sticks of 512 bh5, 2 sticks of 256 bh5, and about six other sticks I know can do at least 220 @ rtc 2.

even with pat disabled? very weird... i thougt only very very ealry boards had problems to run rtc2 and a bios update fixed it?

Disable cpc and they should clock like bh-5 should clock. I don't think turning cpc off is as bad as it would be in an amd setup. My hyperx bh-5 wouldn't run over 220mhz with cpc on. cpc off it would do 250+ with the same voltage.

Where is cpc off option? I'm guessing I need a hacked bios? Can someone link me up? Also, does it give me an on/off option or does it force off? Because I kind of suspect I might be better off performance-wise at 2-3-2 cpc on, compaired to 2-2-2 cpc off. Also, is there a safe way to be able to post above 200 with turbo and MEM working? I've heard of a lot of board deaths with the flash to a p4c fix.
Saaya: It's a rev 2.0 board. Never checked the bios. If someone could direct me to the best bios for 2x512 bh5 (Doesn't need impressive clocks. I'm on a 533FSB p4, running 224 right now doubt I'll ever need above 235.)

Went to 19 beta 2 bios and I can do 2-2-2 just fine now. Still can't use MEM on. Is MEM CPC?

Intel boards don't have CPC, AFAIK.

K thanks. Anyway. I can't run MEM at 200 even. So I'm not going to bother trying the hack. 224 MEM off is good enough for me.

With my 2*512 BH5 sticks, I managed around 225Mhz, 2.85V. This on my P4C800-E.

I think it's a board/chipset problem.
About 2 months ago, I had a Celeron D (533FSB), and I had also problems running with the dividers on both my IC7-G and P4C800-E. I know that my memory is good for around 240Mhz, 1:1, fastest timings.
But with that cpu, I couldn't even get it stable at 225Mhz, with 3.2V (180FSB and 4:5 divider)

Some will show it in the bios and some won't. My is7 has cpc on/off option in bios.
