I did the gpu volt mod, wow did that really help  620 stable, but mem maxes out at 595, I world rather not do any premant mods as my skills are bad.
edit** mods please mod, I am stupid and posted in wrong section. thanks.

here is a pic of the VR mod that i added to. make sure you check with HF or Cat first, im not too sure. but go ahead and get those readings in the mean time

Alright, I check tonight after I get off of work. Thanks alot.

use grabbers + VR on the IC, its more accurate in terms of changing resistance, and its cleanly and easily removable, if ur worried about it falling off, use a dab of glue

I agree with Blinky guys.
It is always dangerous to do pencil mods. You have no idea what the resistance is going to be when you first fire the card up. You can of course check the resistance after applying the lead, but I still highly recommend another method.
As far as the pic is concerned, I would check to see which ones are connected to the Vddr checkpoint before penciling any of them.

thanks for your help, but I found all the spots not to match the reading piunt for the mem. One I touched lock the computer. So It looks like hardmod is the only way. I try latter tonight when I have more time.

what cooling..thats great..i just got one and even on water it is maxing out at 570..ill have to check the core voltage..i hope it is undervolted realy bad..that way i can fix it. PC-ice, stock should be 1.4, I am running mine at 1.75. Mine was a poor O/Cer, barely doing PE speeds stable at stock voltage. Also I am using a Rev 2 sliencer from older generation ones. TEmps are high, and soon I will be getting a Rev 4.

ok, maybe u might have to pencil the measuring SMD.
i have mixed feelings on pencil mods, easier to rma sure but more likely to need rma.
DO THE VR!

Hey rejeck, could you show me w/ pictures on how I would go about using SMD grabber and how to rig it up step by step?

I'm runnin' mine now with 1.73v, to get 599/599 stable. Temps stay under 55/38. Has anyone heard of a card being toasted by too much voltage? Wondering how much is (somewhat) safe to give it.

ive never used grabbers i dont even think i can get them.
spaceman try putting some small chipsinks eg. microcool on to the SOICs. they burn out quite quickly around 1.9v on a 5900xt at least.
since i dont have an x800 i wont do a step by step, but you solder a wire to the pin mentioned above, then connect it to a 20k vr, then connect the other leg to ground. get the datasheet of that IC and find the ground pin, or just use one of the 2 grounds from the back of the molex
