X800XT PE Crashing Computer?

I just installed a VGA Silencer on my X800XT PE and booted up... Keeping pretty cool at 39c idle. Anyway, a couple times when I went to "Settings>ATI Display Settings" by clicking on the tray icon it shut down my computer before the ATI settings screen came up.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

That tray thing is a nightmare, it makes my R9800 based system reboot alot too, but if I don't click on it nothing bad happens. Just uninstall it.

By chance are you using 4.9 drivers? I had a problem with this driver crashing my x800xt pe. Using now the 4.10 betas.

Yeah... I was using the 4.9's and switched to the 4.10 betas and haven't had the problem yet.
